Building Handwashing Stations in Schools

April 4, 2014
Highlands Church in Denver, Colorado is partnering with ADEC and Chispa Project to build three handwashing stations at the request of local schools.  The church also brought over 500 pounds of books to donate to schools in the region.

In the old form of pilas (or sinks), small children had to climb into the sink to drink water or wash their hands and would sometimes fall inside.  There was also only one water spigot for the whole school.  Thanks to Highlands all three sinks were finished in a week!
