Volunteer in Honduras!
At this point, trip dates are pending through the COVID pandemic.
Please look for ways to stay in touch, as the needs in Honduras are even more acute.
We hope to have more information in the next few months with hopes for trips in the summer of 2021 –

A sample of a volunteer group inaugurating a school library in Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Chaplain Norris Burkes and his wife, Becky, volunteered in Honduras with Chispa Project for three months in 2018, and have since started annual volunteer trips to share their experiences!
Join them next year in Tegucigalpa to help set up and inaugurate a new school library. We need volunteers to come participate painting, labeling and inventorying books, and help with the library inauguration festival activities and decorations.
You do not need to be able to speak Spanish or have any great art skills, just enjoy working with kids!
$1,100 is all-inclusive package for your week-long volunteer project.
Trip costs cover:
- Food and lodging in Honduras
- Transportation in Honduras
- Travel Health Insurance
- Support the creation of the school library with books, library supplies and decorations, bookshelves, paint, and inauguration activities and crafts for kids.
