Join Us in Honduras

Join us to help set up and inaugurate a new school library! We need volunteers to participate in painting murals, labeling and inventorying books, and helping with the library inauguration festival activities and decorations. We’ve welcomed volunteers from ages 3 to 83, so there’s opportunities for everyone.

You do not need to be able to speak Spanish or have any particular skill; you just need to be willing to help out as needed!

March 13 - 20, 2027 : Lago Yojoa Naturescapes Trip
Help us install and inaugurate a vibrant library, and spend your downtime relaxing in nature and exploring the idyllic scenery around Lago Yojoa, Honduras’ largest lake.

Paint murals, inventory books, and give kids the joy of new books by day; by night, enjoy the chocolate, gastronomy, and stories as we explore Honduras’ previous capital city, the historic colonial town of Comayagua.

June 2-12, 2027 : Copan Mayan Heritage Trip
This 10-day adventure is the perfect balance of volunteering and touring Honduras’ most renowned Mayan heritage site: Copan Ruinas. We’ll get the full experience of installing and inaugurating a library, then explore coffee farms, natural hot springs, the Mayan ruins, and more!
